From Northwest Washington:

• Rock Creek Pkwy becomes Independence Ave
  as you pass the Lincoln Memorial area
• At the Tidal Basin, bear right toward signs To 395 South/FDR
  Just beyond the exit for 395 South/Jefferson Memorial/Haines Point,
  exit right at Maine Ave/SW WATERFRONT onto M St SW
• Go 3/10 mile; turn left at light onto 7th St SW; take an immediate
  right onto I (Eye) St SW
• Go 2/10 mile; turn right ontoWesley Pl SW
• You will see the sign for 1001 @ WATERFRONT
  

From Virginia

• Take 395 North/395 Capitol Hill/395 Baltimore
• Exit at Maine Ave/SW WATERFRONT/Nationals Park
• At stop sign, turn left onto G St SW
• Go 3/10 mile; turn right at light onto 4th St SW
• Go one long block; turn left at light (T intersection) onto I (Eye) St SW
• Turn right at next corner onto Wesley Pl SW
• You will see the sign for 1001 @ WATERFRONT

From Western Maryland

• Take the Beltway to George Washington Parkway toward Washington
• Exit at 395 North; follow the “From Virginia” directions above

From Baltimore and Eastern Maryland

• Take MD-295 South, which becomes I-295 South
• Exit at Howard Rd (exit 3B) toward downtown
• Turn right onto Howard Rd SE
• Keep left at the fork in the ramp
• Turn slight right onto South Capitol St SE
• Keep right at the fork to continue on South Capitol St SE
• Turn left onto M St SE
• Go 2/10 mile; turn right at light onto 3rd St SW
• Turn left at next corner onto K St SW
• You will see the sign for 1001 @ WATERFRONT

From Southern Maryland and Anacostia

• Take I-295 North; or drive toward downtown Washington on Suitland Parkway or South Capitol St
• South Capitol St crosses the Frederick Douglass Bridge
• After the bridge, stay in the right lane as you pass Nationals Park
• Turn left at the light onto M St SE
• Go 2/10 mile; turn right at light onto 3rd St SW

• Take Southeast Frwy toward downtown Washington
